Recover emails after PST file corruption due to increased size

We all know that Microsoft Outlook stores all the data in a single file called Outlook.pst. It stores all the email messages, calendar items, contact records and more. The more emails you receive the larger will grow your PST file. Similarly, the more you create contacts, tasks, calendar events etc, the bigger the file will grow. In Outlook the .pst file size is limited to a 2 GB. If a .pst file goes beyond this size limit, .pst file becomes corrupt and retrieval of emails and data from this oversized .pst file becomes difficult.

However, the most common reason that can corrupt a working PST file is 2 GB storage limitation of MS Outlook. Outlook usually indicates with messages that your PST file is about to cross the maximum size limit of 2 GB. When ever you get such a message do not ignore it. Oversized OST and PST crop utility works by deleting about 25 MB of data from the file. This will however solve the problem, but the only drawback is that you will not be able to control what data you will lose when using it. Some amount of data loss is expected.
